Working in partnership with world renowned design agency Transport Design International, Severn lamb is proud to launch the "Minitram" light urban, visitor transit system. This low cost, environmentally friendly transport mode is available in a range of passenger capacities and engine types including all electric - using lead acid or advanced lithium ion batteries.

The Minitram vehicles are state-of-the-art, lightweight people movers designed to operate in visitor attractions, airports, exhibition sites and
'park and ride' applications. Because of their modular construction, a
range of variants are possible in terms of length, width and interior
seating arrangement according to capacity requirements. This includes single vehicles which can be fully bi-directional (the Minitram Classic range) and multiple carriage configurations with a dedicated power car (the Minitram VTS range).

• GPS activated commentary system

The Minitram System is also capable of being electronically guided. Called
Safeguide, this patented technology automatically steers the vehicles but in
all other respects, including braking and accelerating, the driver remains
in control. Safeguide ensures precise navigation along narrow transit
corridors - just like invisible rails - and precise docking at stops/platforms and stations.

Severn lamb will design, procure and supply complete Minitram systems on a turnkey basis including all vehicles, battery charging and electronic
guidance infrastructure.
